TwiTCraft Geocache
I have hiden a Geocache in TwiTCraft.
To find out what a Geocache is, go to http://www.geocaching.com
When you find the Geocache you can log it by writing your name in the LOG BOOK. Please do not "sign" the book (as other players will not be able to add to it) and re-hide the Geocache how you found it.
The TwitCraft cache container can be found at X:187 Z:-2091 (Hint: Northern DOT Hub)
If you find the cache, you can also log it at http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga6313
Have fun!

Re: TwiTCraft Geocache
This was great. I love how it encourages the exploration of the map.
I hid one on a island where mobs do not spawn naturally except for one kind. It's safe from the rain tucked inside a red and white dome home. To all who seek this, I hope you enjoy the journey! No flying or teleporting, please. PM me in game or in the forums if you find it.

Had to jump on the bandwagon... rules are, no digging or other block removal for this one. You should also "/dynmap hide" if you're geocache hunting or placing
Start at south DOT hub
Go southwest, but avoid the forest
Past some small ponds, you will find an abandoned village
Stop for a drink, and check under the spruce

Neat Steve - well worth the ride South
Re: TwiTCraft Geocache
I was just going to note that I will soon have a Geocache up in TWiTCraft as well.

Same here. Just trying to think up a good riddle to leave as a clue.

Not to steal your thunder, HGL, but I've set up GeoCache HQ in Leoville plot D12 (red brick bunker, looks like a wrapped gift). I don't think this was getting as much attention in the forums as it would on the server, and that's a shame.
I'm still building and working out the details, but I think there is enough text space on signs (or several signs) to write directions for a geocache.

Cache is up! Solve the riddle to find the chest!
"Travelers to the East must seek the home of the Beast of the Old Quarter. Beneath its lair lies a cache that may leave you thirsty for more."

"Beast of the Old Quarter"...
:mumbles a bit:
You lost me. :shrugs: I need to get out of Leoville more, it seems.

My signature provides at least 2 clues. Some research may be in order.

That was a very hard chest to find, SWFan85. I must have circled it 20 times not thinking to look around better.

Great idea splarrer, I check out the HQ and it looks good (even with the current dramas). Encouraging me to set up some more!
You may wish to increase the signage / decoration outside - just to make it easier and more interesting to those that have not read the forum.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Tell me about it! I see a bunch of symbols in his sig and it's like he's trying to say something but it just sounds like "We surrender" or "We love Jerry Lewis for some unknown reason"... :shrugs:

Re: TwiTCraft Geocache
I'm thinking about ways to make Geocache HQ more popular... how about prizes? I have a "Geocache Challenge" for the month of June. Everyone who finds it is eligible to win one of the fabulous prizes. So far, I have a diamond block and enchanted book. More will be added later.
Re: TwiTCraft Geocache
I checked on my Geocache today and it had been messed up a bit and a sign left saying "Red Tag was here".
The cache is in tact, I will need to re-model the surrounding; although the Log Book is broken.
It may be time to check on a few others.
Cheers
