Hyrule Nether Colony!!

So, recently I have "created" as it is still under construction and extension, similar to the Mirage (Open but extending). Anyway, I NEED people to build there. I have some lots and I want buildings up ASAP! I have permanent lots as well as weekly payments and are MUCH cheaper than other lots around Hyrule and everything, reason is because I understand the nether may not be the most preferred place to live. Think of it more as a camp for those days when you want to spend lots of time looking for withers. The lots near the nether portal set in the colony will be 15c each and it's permanent. And the ones further out will be about 12.5c daily, maybe even 10c daily. Very cheap. Good colony and very pretty. The Nether, is safe. I've lit it up. In the area with no lots, with geo's, inert's and my head there is a ladder to take you to a nether fortress. And there will later be lots back there too. If you would like a lot for a shop or residence or storage, for whatever. Please DO NOT hesitate to mail me. /mail send ODSTLink and your message.

Just a little heads-up 'afore you flip.
1. I put up a little covering around the portal, as I got sick of Ghasts knocking it out. It doesn't look absolutlely amazing, but hey, it's the nether.
2. Ghasts seem to enjoy blowing up the chests of netherrack. You might want to do something about that.
3. Remember that nice little tunnel I had to the main road? Yeah, you built over it. I'd kind of like it either put somewhere else, or implemented in the actual colony. (Implemented would be nice, as it'll be easier for people to come in) At the moment, there's a small hole with a ladder leading down.
Now for some suggestions:
Are we going to put in some farms? If we do, perhaps somewhere where they can't be seen, and keep the mob count low. Don't want to interfere with geo's pigmen grinder.
The ghasts are starting to be an issue. Maybe put in some pillars of glowstone from the ceiling to light up air space? Make it look all nice and natural and nether-y.
Maybe a build material requirement? Keep it nether-themed, and with the new nether quartz, pretty. Required materials: netherrack, obsidian, nether brick, glowstone, nether quartz ore, nether quartz block, nether fences, etc.
Final suggestion: Replace the roads of the colony with nether brick (Which I am more than willing to help with) Maybe have nether quartz/obsidian/glowstone plot boundaries?
PS: Making the Nether a desirable place to live is pretty much the goal of my suggestions

Well, I did what I said I would.
The Nether Colony is mostly finished with the remodel... nothing terribly fancy, and the Nether portal covering looks pretty bad, but the rest is decent.
Still a bit of work to do, walls need replacing, park needs expanding, needs more plots, etc., but it's livable and not an eyesore. Much.
Now I don't really expect anyone to actually rent a plot, but if you decide to, contact me, not Link. I'm on more often, and if I can't answer any questions, I can always give Link a call.

I like what you have been doing so I say keep it going. I'll plan out and build something on my lot this week.
