Ban Appeal Period?

It looks to me like some bans can be appealed while some cannot. A time period for appeals would be greatly appreciated. I ask because a recent resident of Sky5 with a commercial lot just got permabanned. The threads does not say it cannot be appealed. I just need to know how long I should wait in cases like this before getting their structures in the city torn down.

So after talking to a mod, apparently the ban appeal period is 1 week. Is this codified somewhere and I just haven't seen it?

First off, lately we've been trying to avoid stating that certain bans are "unappealable." We want to give everyone the option to say what they have to say, regardless of what they did. Second, there really isn't a written-in-stone appeal period, but it's typically safe to assume that if the banned party hasn't appealed within around 72 hours, they're not going to appeal at all. I would wait a day or two to see if he responds with a reasonable excuse for his actions, and if he doesn't, take down his lot (I would appreciate if you stored the materials somewhere, just in the off chance they do appeal much later and get unbanned, but if you don't have the space, don't worry about it.).

It's my standard procedure to put materials from a torn down lot in a chest until an appeal is denied.
