[How-To] Protecting Regions

Postby Cheeetozz » 25 Apr 2012, 10:13

Want to know how to protect your region? Look no further!

Step 1 Type “//wand” into the chat. This will give you a Gold Hoe. Gold Hoes are used in TWiTcraft to make WorldEdit selections, and can not be used to farm like they normally would.

Step 2 Use your Gold Hoe to select the area surrounding your build with the Right and Left mouse buttons. The WorldEdit wiki explains it like this:

“At the moment, WorldEdit allows you to select cuboids (think a 3D rectangle) by choosing two points at two corners of the cuboid. The diagram below indicates how two points can form a cuboid. The cuboids you select can only be aligned to the world (they cannot be rotated at an angle).”

Remember, use Left click to select Point 1, and Right Click to select Point 2.

Step 3 You’re almost done! Just type “/region claim (username)”* into the chat, and your build will now be protected! Congratulations!

* Obviously, replace (username) with your username.

You're done!

Here are some optional, extra stuff.
To allow people to build in your protection, use “/region (region) addmember (username)”
Replace “(region)” with the name of your region (your username.)
Replace “(username)” with the username of the player you would like to add.

The command to remove people from your protection is the same syntax as above, but replace addmember with removemember.

Also: the command for adding members to the region is:
/region addmember <regionname> <username>

Where regionname is the name of the region and username is the name of the person you want to add.

And please don't hurt poor little Dragon for posting on here. Vantes asked me to.
