Am I the only one that thinks a permanent ban for xraying is a little too harsh? Did you at least kick him first and tell him to stop?

Out of curiosity, what sort of proof do you all look for to determine if someone is X-Raying? Fraps video? I mean from that count of lairs and resource to stone ratio it seems pretty clear-cut to me (that or he was griefing someone's structure heh).

I think kicking someone who is Xraying is useless (note, independent of whether it is in this case or not), they'll just keep on using the texture pack and "moderate" their usage. The reason they knowingly Xray in the first place is the urge to get one up on everyone else.

Edit: Also hm, how does one place down 1 iron ore? If that's survival, hm.

We checked around the changed blocks and all of them were in a cave. for example:



Edit: Also we do have a seperate page to see stone-iron-gold-diamond ratios, but that is never to be trusted, for example in this case.

You need to smelt iron ore to turn it into ignots
