This player announced a diamond giveaway at spawn and said they would do it again soon. In chat the player claimed to have a legitimate mine yet when I teleported to him he was in a long abandoned mine near spawn.

I witnessed this player walk towards a wall, freeze for a moment, look around then down and then he dug straight down to diamond ore. I witnessed this player mine in this fashion for several minutes, sometimes in pitch black conditions.

Clearly exhibiting cheaty behavior, I had no choice but to permanently ban him. No xraying allowed.

The player can appeal if he chooses to.

Would I be able to get his house after the time has passed for him to post an appeal? He has a house right next to one of my properties and would like the land. There should be some type of process for getting properties of permabanned players like a section of the forum that is created after some one is permabanned so players can post if they want property belonging to that person. Just an idea.

I can't speak for others, but I wait 1 week for an appeal to the ban before properties in Sky5 get reclaimed. If there is no appeal in that time or if the appeal is rejected, I consider it open. As far as I know, there is no codified waiting period though.
