That was a pretty large mess some of us had to clean up. You couldn't get out of it with out being burned, thankfully their was water near by to jump in.

And a couple players died and lost their stuff the instant that they entered the resource world.

Honestly, I think you should be held accountable for this and either give enough coins to buy replacements or make new enchanted diamond tools for those that lost their things.

It's a pretty standard ban length for something like this here. It caused a big mess, destroyed the spawn, and killed a bunch of people the instant they went there.

In my opinion, I think it should be longer. As long as you have been on the server, you had to of know what you were doing was wrong.

This player was found to have xrayed his way into dungeons to easily attain enchanted books, it may not be clear from the screenshots but I have no doubt in my mind this was the case.

The screenshots show that on 2 occasions he dug straight down into a dungeon, pilfered the chests and towered back up and out to the surface.

I asked to speak to him about it through his brother and his response was that he didn't care if he was banned from TWiTCraft. His brother also acknowledged that blackniph99 actively used an xray texture pack.

I fear that this is going to become a bigger problem if/when horses come into play. Dinnerbone (Minecraft Dev) has stated that he does not wish for players to be able to make their own saddles. If the devs stick with this decision and no mod is installed on the server to allow it, each resource reset might be followed with a raid on the dungeons close to resource spawn.

I lucked out recently and found a few dungeons that partially spawned on the ocean floor (after swimming for more hours than I care to admit FAR from spawn - I even found a dungeon that spawned on top of another dungeon) and ended up with 5 or 6 saddles. Combine that with the 4 or 5 I had already and I'm set for a while.

makes me realy, really glad that i locked away all the saddles i found (not that many, but a few), even my racing pig doesnt have a saddle on it. since there is a little bug where i find wilbur in my living room and i did not want to lose a saddle i could not remove from his back.

have i missed any goobnesia pig races? or did they not get off the ground yet

Haven't seen any announced, but I think that has to do with Goob's schedule more than anything.

1. They were briefly in a dev build. The devs went back to a single saddle item only.
2. Because saddles are loot in dungeons. Blacky was banned for using X-Ray to find dungeons.
3. Like the TARDIS building you've been working on? Good question. I imagine you can get a /modreq in to get chests unlocked, but that does create a problem because what was acquired legitimately and what wasn't? Crime hurts as all, people!

There was the inaugural pig race none since, if there is interest I'd be happy to host one whenever, either at the speedway or hopefully the logistical parts of the halo track will be done by then.

Hey, I would like to sincerely apologize for what I did. It was wrong and stupid and I would never do It again. Also I never meant at ALL what I said about not wanting to be banned, it was just a very stressful and tiring day. -blackniph99

I think that if someone is caught xraying, and they apologize, we should let them back. BUT they should have all their resources removed and money should be wiped out. Start over and that would be a fair punishment for betraying the community by xraying. If coming back means that much, then they will start over and come back and do it the right way. otherwise we won't likely see them again.
