Camfair is my son. Here's what he has to say for himself.

Sorry. I will never grief again. I really wanted those diamonds to make a chestplate because my dad gave me four. If I grief again I will never go on the server again because that's the rules.

I'd like to ask that you reduce his ban to a shorter time. His impulse control reflects his age (8) but I think he understands he was wrong and won't steal again. I'd like to ask that you reduce his ban to a shorter time. Thank you. I can replace the diamonds he took but he says he lost his (both the ones he took and the others he mined/I gave him) when he died later that day where he couldn't recover the items.

Should I expect a response to the appeal or does the lack of response mean a decision has been reached and the original decision stands?

I apologize, I planned on shortening the length of the ban, but some personal stuff came up and it slipped my mind. Camfair has been unbanned. Enjoy playing on the server.
