Re: Batstarwars2 [Permanent]
Hey, I was just banned and I was wondering if i could be unbanned. I am very sorry for all the trouble that i made. I am very new to minecraft and I didn't know that I couldn't build by the road, and i didn't know what greifing was. I don't know if ngtflyer told you this but, I planed on moving my house/store but i said I had to get off and I would do it later. I look forward to being unbanned and this will never happen again.
Re: Batstarwars2 [Permanent]
Well a few observations on my part.
First off, I appreciate you finally agreeing to move. Your attitude towards me and other players the other day was however, frankly, rotten.
When a moderator looked at and rolled your actions back, it was noticed (and posted in the screenshot) that you broke the glowstone on the road signs near Heisreason's house.
We also noticed several missing jack-o-lanterns in the road near Leoville station, along Ellsworth and of course by the house you had built onto after the rollback. And for a new player, you seemed to know a good bit about regions ("This house isn't regioned" etc etc). Anyone with any common sense would know that the roads were built by someone, those jack-o-lanterns are there for light and that house belongs to someone.
I'm always for giving someone that really means to make good on their word a second chance. But with these observations, I question your motives.
Even as a brand new player, one would observe that the stairwell and the stone brick wall you cut up might be there for a reason. One might also observe that the house you built onto has a player's name on it and the house is much more than a basic wood or stone box - some real time and effort went into building that house and I think anyone with common sense might be a bit more courteous and leave the home and the land it sits on alone. FYI, I helped build that house. This is why I questioned what you were up to.
The short answer is, "If it's not yours, don't touch it, don't modify it, don't break into it and don't build onto it."
You had to read the rules before you were granted access to the maps, and you showed very little regard for those rules. Minecraft is simply a game, but some players put a lot of time and effort into creating their homes, farms, shops and land around them. I honestly was a bit surprised at just how brash you were towards myself and the other players when we asked what you were up to.
I'm not a moderator on the Minecraft server, just a long time member of the community amongst these guys. It is up to the moderators to make the decision whether to reverse the ban. I am only posting my observations here and clarifying where I stand on the matter. I hope you understand where I am coming from.

Re: Batstarwars2 [Permanent]
Not even new players make those kind of mistakes. You started being disrespectful to other players and on top of that you're told to move from that area but you opted to leave the game.
Appeal denied
You broke the 2 most important rules of the server: Rule #1 "Don't be a jerk, use common sense" & Rule #3 "No Griefing"
PS: we let other players comment on bans to have a more democratic system.
