Ok since the town-hall episode organised by TSC I been speaking to people such as Poster, Teh Rage, vantes over mumble discussing how to improve the rail/transportation. First of all the problems:

* for the past few months there has only been me working on it from an semi official standpoint and for the most part if people haven't come to me and complained I haven't looked at it.
*Leoville is mostly built up and new lines form the main hubs are near imposible to build.
*new places are far out and travel time is long


So thats the problem so my solution:

The old hubs are going since they are build on all sides and new lines are imposible.
4 new hubs N,S,E,W with the lines from leoville going to them.
The new hubs will be built ~2000 blocks away which is basically 1/2 way between leoville and the edge (the North hub is already built)
If the mods agree I like them to build a new line from the station to Grand Central Station So I can continue it east.
Also with rail if these new hubs could have star-gates build either by other player or by mods since DOT is non Profit aka Broke
This should maintain some aspect of the vanilla server we love with faster transport.
Also around the outskirts of leoville there will be a rail loop which will take you to the main transport lines.
In these hubs will also be connected by on rail loop

Simply 4 new hubs 2000 blocks in all directions
these be connected by one massive rail loop
Close to leoville be connected by another rail loop.
On the loop connection the 4 main hubs will be built 4 smaller hubs for nw, ne,se,sw
Except for the station for the loop close to leoville there will be no stations in-between hubs only coloured wool markers to tell you to get off. So that the line is fast.


So what do people think these plans are subject to changed

also any people willing to contribute any time and or resources. be much appreciated.
