New Nether

So, I was exploring the Nether when a skeleton killed me. I respawned at a seemingly random location and I can't find the portal. I've tried /spawn, that takes me back to where I respawned. What can I do to get out?

Hrm... Not sure what you could do without a mod, to be honest. You could try asking for the coordinates of a nether portal in the overworld and then do the divide X and Z by 8 calculation and navigate to those coordinates. If you'd already died/typed /mvs, you'd theoretically be fairly close to the Neo Leo portal...

Yes, I did get out. Vantes came and helped me out.
