Hopefully one of those time constraints is Van searching high and low for a light bulb. His video is too **** dark!

I prefer to go sub-terra for my first few nights until I can get materials for something better. Though I'm starting to think of what I'm eventually going to build.

I usually do underground/under a mountain myself. I might just make a dirt box in the open depending upon where I decide to settle. I do have a few basic ideas left over from what a few of use were wanting to eventually do on the original map, but we'll see how that goes.

so things are progressing much faster than i thought with the plugins and all. this is very good.
no idea how to start other than hitting up twitmart for the basics (like before) so that all i have to do is stake a spot for a house. maybe one with a little bit of water and a little fence, put a bridge over a babbling brook and some shrubbery

"Cakes to Dye for" is BACK . . . [west of main spawn]
We have many kinds of food, pies, all dyes and cake. No lie!

I too dig a hole in the dirt for my first few nights. If I punched enough trees, I even put a door on it. Actually, now that I think about it, that hole in the dirt really is where my mining operations are, and my houses are just decoration.

So we are shooting for Jan. 1 to open up the new survival world. Like Blender said earlier, we still need to finish up some of the town squares and set up regions. We'll probably get it done this weekend then we'll let Curley do the back end stuff.

Any decision on whether we will get bigger and/or more regions. I need to know, as it will affect the kinds of builds I start designing.

Is the whitelist still going to be in effect, or was that (as I suspect) just temporary?

If you have a big project and would like to get it region protected, submit a modreq and a Moderator can region protect a building of any size. We've done it in the past with the other builds like the Mirage Mall and some player homes because of griefing issues.

The whitelist was specifically set up for the temp server.

Re: Community Event Planning - Pre 1.7 Reset and Beyond?
I am thinking a castle in the middle of an ice spike / snowy biome would be cool. I really wish I could transfer the castle I started building at the end of the old Twitcraft. I have a schematic of it though so I should just have to gather the resources and copy it.

Re: Community Event Planning - Pre 1.7 Reset and Beyond?
I think stealing some of tha clay in the mesa biome and building a town in that sandy area towards the corner of the map with the rivers running through it, that might be cool I hope edwin is not thinking of using that area for Sandale II probaly is becuase that's like the only sandy part of the map.
