It's official! Minecraft Version 1.6.2 has been released and the server has been updated!

But... Why are you so down? It's all any player could ever want, after all!

What's that? You can't find horses anywhere on the survival map, you say?

Huh... That is a shame...

If only we had a rich relative with access to a supply of horses...

You know... Like a rich uncle, perhaps?

Waitaminute!!!

I'm rich!

And I'm an uncle! (I actually am IRL - Scary, I know!)

And I have access to horses!!

If only I were crazy enough to just give out free horses to the server population...

The Happy Horse Hunt!

Hidden in multiple locations across the SURVIVAL map are 4 horses. Hidden at 4 different locations are 4 chests.

"4 chests, Poster? I don't want a chest! Where's mai horse?!"

Calm down, Sparky! The chest holds 2 important items you'll need for your equine escapades: A FREE saddle, tagged "The Happy Horse Hunt Saddle", and a book with coordinates for where your pre-tamed horse is hidden. Your book will also include helpful suggestions for caring for your horse plus addition information you may need to find it.

"Sounds great! What coordinates are the chests at?"

Not that easy, Sparky! You'll need to do a little searching to find these bad boys. Starting with this post, means to acquire clues will be posted on this thread. Some will be as simple as "Go to Town X and look for the sign." Some will involve a little effort on your part. Either way, my voice is growing quite hoarse from shouting for joy over the possibilities horse riding could bring!

One more thing: Unlike our impromptu scavenger hunt yesterday, there is no limit for the number of horses a single player can acquire. They are first found, first served. If a single player gets all 4, too bad. There's no crying in TWiTCraft.

One more one more thing: Do not complain about the difficulty of the clues. They are meant to actually engage your brain a little bit. They aren't super-hard, but they won't all be super-easy either. Suck it up, think for a minute, and you should be fine!

Ready for the first clue? Great! Here goes:

Happy Horse Hunt #1 - HORSE FOUND!!!

Clue #1: The server rules, which all players are supposed to abide by, are posted here: TWiTCraft Rules. What is the maximum number of animals you and your neighbors are allowed to breed in a single area?

Every player who PMs the correct answer to me, PosterAnonymous, BEFORE THE HORSE IS FOUND will receive the first clue.

Answer #1: 100 entities per player area are allowed on this server.

The chest hint, provided to those who PM'ed the correct answer, was:

The Aquadome was not Poster's first underwater project. Pod Sixia was his first attempt at a massive underwater structure. Now a failed underwater city in extreme disrepair, only a few structures remain standing. The first chest sits beneath the only above-water portion remaining of Pod Sixia. It is an interesting "house" that will definitely shed some "light" upon your equestrian quest!

The answer: danielf847's Lighthouse. A locked chest was placed at its base containing Poster's first written book ever (including coordinates to where the horse was hidden), a lead, and a saddle tagged "The Happy Horse Hunt Saddle #1".

Happy Horse Hunt #2:

Clue 1: You look tired! Why don't you take a Kruze to the warm tropics? While you're at it, give me the general coordinates of the ship you're traveling on! Maybe we could meet up for cocktails on the main deck and look at a wool enderman statue!

Answer: Kruzekova has a luxury yacht almost exactly due south of Leoville. There was a locked chest on the dock leading up to the ship with the password of "NoShameOnThisPlank".

Hint 1: Space Ghost may be the host of "Space Ghost, Coast to Coast", but Zorak and this guy are the real stars.

Hint 2: Much like the wolf, this horse likes to hide in sheep clothing.

Hint 3: If you're having trouble still, you may want to consider starting to wear a HELMET... And stick to areas with soft desert sand far from others...

PM me or PA with your guess of the coordinates of the horse. Probably best to contact PA because he frequents the forums more than me. Happy horse hunting

NOTE: Horse #3 was given away on the server last night in an impromptu giveaway. We're wrapping this up quickly because we have another exciting event with a NEW MOB planned for this weekend and geo and I got pulled away onto other projects/delayed in general this week. It was also looking like I would not be available Saturday night, but those plans got postponed this morning so I should be free.
