Town Hall Format Change Update
After reading through your comments and suggestions on the TWiTCraft Forums. I have thought up a new format that will keep the old way but also introducing new segments. So here's the idea Town Hall is going to be produced more frequently week or bi-weekly and a set once a month big town hall so about 2-3 Town Halls a month. So the format I proposed earlier will now be the short form Town Hall that will run weekly or bi-weekly.
Format for short form Town Hall (weekly or bi-weekly):
Intro (Pre-Recored)
Updates (Pre-Recored)
User Interview (Pre-Recored)
Round Table (4-5 users max) [Live]
Outro (Pre-Recored)
Format for long form Town Hall (Once a month):
Intro [Live]
Updates (Pre-Recored)
Town Hall meeting [Live]
Outro [Live]
Now your question might be why pre record updates people want to hear them in mumble. My reasoning behind it is not everyone can make it to the monthly Town Hall and mostly likely not week or bi-weekly ones. I will be recording all the updates in post then edit it in when the final product is posted. To submit updates please send them to the Town Hall email ( twitcrafttownhall@gmail.com ) NOT the Topic Submission Form. Now you may ask why not a PM in the forums? It's better to send an email I will get a notification right away and will read it and act on it faster then having to open up the forums. If you still do not like this format change please comment below or go to this forum post to comment to provide feedback.
Thanks,
Caleb F.

Re: Town Hall Format Change Update
the thing i like about the pre-recording is that multiple people could have them in their hands, or shared. in case TSC's housr is in a blackout, fracked video card or something.
i can tell they're live, but they're canned so pre-recorded wouldn't change them. so that the round table can become the people who manage to get their live.
So take as long as you need recording those TSC because when you're done we won't need you anymore

Re: Town Hall Format Change Update
Hmm... Why not have the bi-weekly update pre-recorded in its entirety? It could be a 5-15 minute "news report" briefly discussing whatever was going on server-wise with just a single host and maybe one or two "guests". If it proved popular enough, it could go weekly. Then every month have the long-form Town Hall where issues are discussed with the entire community such as what we have now. That would allow for a concise distribution of what is going on AND allow us to voice our opinions in a long format.
