RE: Town meeting topics and ideas
Hello there fellow Twitcrafters. It's me, your friendly neighborhood Storm Trooper. After listening in on the town meeting on Saturday. I remembered some posts on Reddit that people used for anti-griefing.

Here is the Reddit post http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/1c1plf/detail_fun_with_command_blocks/
What happens; new people come into this room, they read the rules and proceed to the next room to get white listed. But on the way, there's a trap. If you didn't read the rules carefully, and hit the trap button, it bans you for 24 hours.
If the player reads the rules and goes through the correct door, they will be teleported the original Twitcraft spawn location. This room needs zero mods or plugins to work. It uses basic redstone logic and command blocks in the game.
Another idea is to have a mandatory 24 gray list of any new players that enter the Twitserver.
I also found this very interesting post detailing the end portal. The Twit portal to the end looks a little, unloved. I would like to know if anybody would want to do this, or help me with the project would be greatly appreciated. With limiting people, trying to join the Twitcraft server, we have to make sure we aren't broadcasting the wrong message. We're trying to reduce the amount of griefers and destruction on this server. Hopefully, we eliminate some of the problems by having this idiot proof room.
I also want to address the lack of skills of some players. Particularly the younger crowd. Before they join this server, they should have a basic understanding of Minecraft works. There has been a few instances of people joining the server, and they don't even know how to craft basic tools for the game. This can take a toll on the Mods/players in the game. Since they have to spend time trying to teach these young folks how to survive. Should we have an area that shows them the basics of Minecraft?
As a new player to the Twitcraft server, It can be very frustrating to find a place to call home. We could make a temporary housing for new players. The temp. houses would be very basic and could have a chest along with a furnace or something.
That's all for now, I hope this helps out. I love this server and hate people who destroy stuff for a laugh.
