Airborne minecart mechanics!!!
(Yes, the answer to many of these are already known, but it'll be a lot of fun to confirm.)
A. Can you use a fast moving cart to launch yourself above the world build limit?
B. Will water still save you from a long fall if you're riding a cart?
C. Can you "jump" a cart, and land somewhat safely on another track?
D. If you launch yourself from a rail, do you fall at a constant angle, a decaying angle, or straight down?
E. If a chicken is riding a cart, will it still be immune to fall damage?

More importantly, if an anvil is launched from a track, riding in a cart, in a forest and no one is around to see it, did it really happen? That one has been buggin me for quite some time now...

Fairly easy. Quick test with a still cart, slightly longer test with a slow cart. As for a "real" test with a fast cart... do you really want more two hour episodes?

Timber, how dare you?! Do not bash on the busters of myths. 30% of my silly quotes come from them.

But we are the For SCIENCE!!! team. While some of our questions may sound like myths, I assure you that all of them have little/no origins in actual Minecraft myths.

Lets put it this way: When the SCIENCE!!!! team asks a question, it WILL get answered. When the SCIENCE!!!! team makes a ramp or some other construct, it will be structurally sound. I guarantee that there will be no tests or shows created where we ask a question and then spend the next 30 min telling you that we can't really answer it except to say that it was unlikely because we are incompetent and made some structurally unsound ramp to test on, and the experiment failed so the physics must be flawed ... THAT is mythbuster style, not SCIENCE!!!! wtf???!!!

it is dissapointed when they get the answer version of "inconclusive" but the things they can prove for sure are interesting in their answer.

i am in a fantasy/modern mix dnd game where the DM is an aerospace engineer. so the modern tech and science is applied. and the conclusive episodes of mythbusters end arguments. (not just weapons) like: can an elephant actually be scared by a mouse?

Wow..get busy for one week...ok so to respond to things..

I claim Adam if we have to be mythbusters..I have the fadora and everything! And I love the ideas we are getting! For anyone curious about the latest anvil test I finally have it up at tscn.tv/anvil for full viewing. In the future the parts will be 30 minutes each with clear cutoffs when the time comes..makes it easier for me to edit and gives viewers the ability to not have to watch all the parts in one stretch and take their own time to get through them! I love the idea of guests from the server as well as long as when it comes to audio you can adjust to the fact there is a lag on my end..if you watch the latest vids you will notice what I mean..its not enough to stop us but still..its takes adjusting to. Oh and Craftbusters..that could be interesting..would be a headache to come up with an intro but in the future who knows..we may turn it into a show.. wouldn't be a podcast due to lack of RSS but still!
