I love this! And not just because I'm in it! But mostly! This is awesome! <Insert more excited yelling!> :D

I must start thinking of more experiments... maybe re-runs of our anvil tests? Death by splash potion? Can Ghasts see through invisibility potions?

I knew that would get your mind buzzing..if you don't mind I will even ask at the end of the next one if anyone has any ideas for other experements we can do..and now you know what your constantly frightened assistants voice sounds like to...those ponies were right..friendship really is magic..or just scary from my perspective ;)

Ok, while I'm sure I can come up with some demented experiments on my own, both Sam and I would love some For SCIENCE!!! experiment ideas.
Think it's crazy? Tell us! Think it can't be done? Tell us anyway!
Will the results be helpful in no way whatsoever? Those are our favorites!
Please, please, please post any insane ideas that occur to you :)

The results of our anvil experiment will be coming out at some point!

I've always wanted to know; if and anvil falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound...

Yep..I'm going to so enjoy doing these...and yes I plan for the vids to be uploaded to youtube soon but it will take a while since I get to play around with the editing software to break it into parts but once I figure all of that out then it will be out for your viewing pleasure.

1. Timber, I love that picture.
2. The Hall of SCIENCE!!! is currently in the process of being made.
3. A creeper-based player head is needed. I will personally pay 500c for anyone willing to donate an alt account's (or main account's) head for SCIENCE!!!
4. Their is a better way to phrase the "anvil in the forest" question: If an anvil falls in a forest, and no one is around to load the chunk, does it still fall?
New Test! This one will actually be somewhat helpful!

---Edit---
My God, my inner Grammar Ally is screaming. Not only did I use the wrong "there," but I misspelt it too. Double fail.

Trick question. If the chunk isn't loaded, there is no way for it to fall.

Way to go, Asim0v. You killed the spirit of science.

Aww, that makes me sad. Science, you will be missed. I guess you could try astrology since science is dead. Read the Minecraft stars. :geek:

Astrology, perhaps. Maybe I can make a TwitCraft star chart.
Or I can go study the resource moon. Maybe I'll finally be able to explain its habit of going through an entire lunar cycle in one night :P

You people are so funny.
Anywho, some ideas occured to me whilst I was supposed to be doing school work:

Test the terminal velocity of mobs. (and other entities)
Is the terminal velocity of a pig the same as a player? A villager?
Anvils? :D

Airborne minecart mechanics!!!
(Yes, the answer to many of these are already known, but it'll be a lot of fun to confirm.)
A. Can you use a fast moving cart to launch yourself above the world build limit?
B. Will water still save you from a long fall if you're riding a cart?
C. Can you "jump" a cart, and land somewhat safely on another track?
D. If you launch yourself from a rail, do you fall at a constant angle, a decaying angle, or straight down?
E. If a chicken is riding a cart, will it still be immune to fall damage?
