Saddened by the relocation of Heaven

Postby ToucanMonkey » 19 Mar 2013, 21:48

I visited Push it Somewhere Else heaven today and I was really disappointed to see Heaven had moved. Asking around, I found that the build had been moved somewhere else. The reason Push it Somewhere Else heaven was placed close to heaven was because Timberwolf1777(owner of heaven) gave me permission to build next to it. I thought it was really cool having two heavens right next to each other and the contrast between the two. Now Push it Somewhere Else heaven is alone in the sky far from Heaven, its older sibling. I would like to request Heaven to be moved back near Push it Somewhere Else Heaven because the heaven I created is lonely and sad without it. I compare it to the Statue of Liberty and the land it stands on. If you take the Statue of Liberty away from the landmass it stands on, that landmass becomes irrelevant and weird looking because of the hole where Lady Liberty used to stand. Bringing this metaphor back to TWiTCraft, I built the Statue of Liberty with permission on Timber's landmass and with the landmass missing all there is left is a floating statue, left alone. I spent a lot of time building Push it Somewhere Else heaven and suddenly having my work ruined is really disappointing.

Yeah, the PSE heaven was derp heaven. Instead of fighting the trolling, I chose to remove Heaven from TWiTCraft. Asim0v was nice enough to help me delete it. Oh yeah, dont use the skytram that used to go to it. Theres a hole in the line up there. It is a deathtrap now. Ill fix it eventually

No no no! Leave it. I like the idea of falling to one's death, riding a minecart, waving a cowboy hat and hooting.

This makes me think of the jibjab cartoon from the bush/Kerry election. "And yes its true that I kick ass" "you can't spell nuclear, that really scares me, sometimes a brain can, come in quite handy"

Such a great song.

If the Skytram no longer routes to Heaven, do you think I can route it to Push it Somewhere Else Heaven? I would be willing to do the work to bring the rail line there and it would mean the rail line has a place to go. Since Heaven and Push it Somewhere Else Heaven are so close to each other it wouldn't be that much work.

A lot of players wanted a heaven that they could build in after seeing how awesome your heaven was. That was why Push it Somewhere Else Heaven didn't look as nice as your Heaven, so players knew your heaven was "premium" and mine was underprivileged. A lot of players were incredibly happy to have a heaven to build in, and I was disappointed you mistook my effort to make TWiTcraft players happy as "trolling".

I have an opinion on this subject but I don't want to start another dramatic battle over something that, honestly, has already been done and there's no value in arguing over.

Touc, I vote we just drop it and move on. :) If you want to reroute the rail to your build and Timber will allow it, cool. Since I believe the Skyrail is his project, it's his call. I don't think the public forum is the place to continue this conversation - I'd use PM's personally. :)
