I think that my dislike, distrust, and general lack of respect toward our new moderator has been made pretty clear. His behavior toward me over the past months had been less than acceptable. My sign, as you see here, in a private area, was my statement of my dislike. On the other hand, the constant trolling and break in attempts by chicken has gotten excessively out of hand. Chicken, my issue with Vanes has nothing to do with you. Please stop trolling. That goes for you as well toucan.

Timber what is the unacceptable behavior you're speaking of. If a moderator is giving trouble it needs to be brought to all our attentions so we can take care of it.

As for your lack of respect for a moderator that is something that I can't let slide. Our moderators decisions need to always be at the very least respected, even if you don't trust them. Public (yes even in a private place, the server is the server) displays like this are unacceptable and downright rude as well as unproductive to any resolution. We have many ways to promote civil and productive discussions regarding disagreements with plays, mods, and even my decisions. I can never allow public rudeness or disrespect of a mod regardless if you end up being correct.

I understand Curley, and my sincere apologies. Should a ban of any length be necessary for my actions, I completely understand. Although my issues with vantes started before he became a moderator, I guess this is the time and place to post them. On three separate occasions, prior to his becoming a moderator, Vantes chose to, without any communication, perform an action that would push the player friendship (we were friends supposedly) in a difficult way. He did, this, I can only assume, to test my behavior and the friendship.

The first: We had an agreement that I would design the oasis tower and after he started selling apartments, he would pay me a reasonable rate for my services. I assumed that this rate would be paid in a timely manner. It was not. Despite the work I put into the building design (a day and a half of research and creating several flatland mockups), I had to pester him even weeks after the apartments started selling to even get the conversation going regarding any compensation for my time and creativity. He complained every time I brought up the subject.

The second: His version of finally "paying me" was buying a stack of gold blocks at a much higher value than he thought was a fair price (I had no idea at the time what a fair price for gold was as it was not based on twitmart rates at that time) and not communicating that this was what he was doing. I accepted his "rate" on the block sale (completely ignorant of what he thought was a fair price). He then promptly ceased communication with me for a day, until I figured out (on my own ... no communication from him) what happened and apologized profusely. Yup, he put me in a situation where I was forced to apologize for taking his Gold sale rate which only had he viewed as payment to me, and in order to get keep the friendship, I chose to return the money for the gold. I was still unpaid for my work on the tower design. Finally, weeks after the apology and my repayment to him he paid me a small amount for the design work.

The third: Right after my birthday, I was leaving for a work trip for a month. My week had been one of the hardest of my recent life and I was very excited for the resource world reset and a dragon hunt as it hadn't been reset in a couple weeks. I had communicated this to my friend, Vantes. Vantes had bragged that he had used an exploit months earlier to get over a stack of dragon eggs, so I wrongly assumed that one more egg would not be something he would want. One other player expressed interest in the egg at the time of the reset but as the typical hunt rules follow, if you die excessively or dont make it to the end, you dont have a claim on the egg. This player died and didnt try again. When the hunt happened, it fell to Vantes and me. I took out most of the dragon regen towers while he set up camp on one and proceeded to shoot at it. After I was done with the towers, I joined in the fight. We both knocked down its health and vantes got the killing arrow in. Instead of communication with me and saying something like; "I know its your birthday week and you are leaving for a month for work but I was hoping to give the egg to a player who doesn't have one yet," or something like that, Vantes said "My kill!" and with no discussion about out shared efforts or consideration over his 64+ eggs, proceeded to aggresively take the egg and in chat barb me by titling it as "the egg timber really wanted." I chose to not fight over it as I had to immediately pack for my trip. Needless to say, I was pretty upset over his lack of discussion or even a sense of fair play yet again.

At this point I figured I could address the issue when I returned. Well, when I returned a month later, I discovered that he was now a mod... After previous experience with him and his lack of communication on the decisions he makes, I realized that if I brought up my issues with his behavior directly, a ban from him might be an inevitable outcome for "not respecting a mod." I politely asked him to vacate my Heaven property and even apologized for my part in our conflict. He has yet to take responsibility or even apologize for any of the poor behavior he has done. I admit, that this situation (lack of any responsibility in addition to now having mod powers) pushed my anger toward him up several notches and my behavior since has been less than ideal too.

Since mod status was awarded:

My region was griefed by him with no discussion when he and others didn't like the changes I was making in it (first blocking and then removing my bridge) by making a hole in the wall I had set up (apparently logblock doesn't show mod changes). The screen shot is in the album link.

When I politely commented that I disapproved on his leoville lot being huge and corporate (although I like the design, just not right next to spawn), he attacked my lot's rail and suddenly we were having a "Player to Player" (his words not mine) discussion, and using mod powers, he broke into a locked space to screenshot & prove a point of his. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=485&start=20 The Citadel Private Rail in the second screenshot was behind a that wood door in the first screenshot .... which was locked. As a "Player" I cant break into his property and dont even try. How is using mod powers to break into a locked area "Player to Player"?

We also had had an agreement regarding SamuelProssers's tower (which I built). My "payment" from him for my significant time working on the build (I built the whole structure ... check logblock around the area of x307,z348) and contribution of materials during the build was that the tower I made would be in the view from my home. He removed this tower recently with no discussion. This is in violation of the agreement we had, so I modreqed it. Asim0v answered it and in the album is my side of the part of the conversation about it and of course, Vantes refused to talk or apologize for his poor behavior, yet again.

Time and again Vantes has failed in providing any discussion about his actions. He does what he chooses and when I have confronted him about questionable actions, I either have gotten complaints, attacks, or been ignored. Now, some of his friends in mumble (thesillychicken and toucanmonkey) have chosen to pursue a campaign of trolling toward me. (some screenshots of some of this trolling are in the album) I can only assume that this is related to the conflict between Vantes and myself. Although I have been nothing but polite to toucanmonkey and thesillychicken and have attempted to keep the issues I have with your new moderator personal, their actions must now be recognized. Curley, I await your decision regarding my signs. I would, honestly, at this point, like to simply play my game in peace. I have set Vantes, thesillychicken, and toucanmonkey all on /ignore and am happy to proceed in TWiTCraft in this manner.
