More Active Mods Needed
Don't get me wrong, people like DemonFive, t2t2t, ipod, etc. are awesome and very helpful, when they're on, but I've been on for days with no one in sight and ModReqs are piling up. TwitCraft is an awesome server but it needs active Mods! Just because people are spending more time on other games doesn't mean we shouldn't fill the gaps. If we assign new Mods now, we can always make certain they know it's going to be a temporary posting, until such time as the main Mods start spending more time on the server.
I know for a fact that my sentiment is shared by a fair number of other TwitCrafters, so please, consider the idea!

Re: More Active Mods Needed
i understand that the mods are doing a very good job. working on modreqs and working on their real jobs, omgcraft and such
but it has seemed to me for a while that perhaps a couple more mods would help the workload on the server. and provide more of a presence when the mods are busy with real life.
this is entirely a mods decision, i would not be surprised if a given potential mod would need a unanimous vote to join or even a similar vote to decide to look for new mods. but i have also talked with others who think that more could help. not a modarmy, just a couple more. perhaps in other time zones to spread their presence around the map.
this is your decision, mods. but i did not want netrokus to sound like a lone voice, talking of other-sirs[ladies]-not-appearing-in-this-topic who agree with him. this is just my two cents on this.

Re: More Active Mods Needed
Definitely not a lone voice at all. Some more or more active mods would be nice.
That being said, you can always tweet @twitcraft and the mods directly on Twitter. Leave @Curley out of the modreqs though; not really his department.

Tweeting at mods usally get there attentionf for example yeterday with pohney3 greifing aund ther server I had enough and tweeted the mod team and in less than 5mins t2t2 game on and delt with the situation.
I definitely agree that a more active mod presents be nice especially with things like the PISE, and leave tweeting at the team as a last resort if greifing gets to high.

Re: More Active Mods Needed
I know quite a few players would be happy with the "trusted user" or a "junior moderator" status. We would have access to logblock and be able to read modreqs and gather information for the mods and curley to dish out the punishment if required. Having access to a 24hr kick would be nice also to stop a griefer in progress of damaging someones build.

yeah, something between normal users and mods. not necessarily as a trial mod-status, just more people to fill-out the ranks.

Re: More Active Mods Needed
never hesitate to tweet me. For anything. Almost always I'm able to ssh into the server from my phone and take care of things. I'm amazed at the occassional times i'll look over at the console and see a genuine issue taking place yet notice no one's tweeted me in hours.
Re: More Active Mods Needed
Thank you! I'll definitely keep the tweeting option in the holster as well, but it's nice to see the Orange name, too.
