Wither in my house

Just for giggles I decided to try and see if withers could spawn in the main TWiTCraft world now that we have upgraded the server. Sure enough I spawned one.

I ended up fighting it in The Citadel's item vault. Fun Fun.

Curley, If this was accidental, you may want to reinstate the regulation of wither spawning only in the resource world.

hot patched. the wither control plugin regen'd it's config file when it was updated. good find.

Timber I regret to inform you that your pet Wither was killed. Somehow it got out while you were off line and started attacking as well as doing block damage. vantes killed it and said he'd save the star for you. But I feel bad for you and a couple of our players because some things were destroyed like the Citadel and a little bit of the Mirage.

NEWS FLASH: Wither Breaks Free! Goes NUTS and devastates peaceful community!

Vantes, in a heroic act leaped in to the fray, enchanted bow gleaming in hand. The Citadel already lay in ruins and the kids were running everywhere in complete panic. As the bodies piled up, vantes managed to guide the wither from the vulnerable Mirage Mall to the open desert. A great battle ensued and blocks of sand could be seen flying everywhere as blast after blast spewed from the wither. Standing fiercely defiant, vantes smote the wither first with bow then with a gleaming diamond sword. Finally, in a great cry of agony, the wither expired and left its essence in a star. vantes, triumphant hero, gathered the star and marched back to help the hapless citizens so traumatized by the devastation of the day!





(Curley, fyi, when u changed the permissions, the active wither in my cage somehow suddenly got the ability to destroy blocks and caused a lot of damage to Eastern Leoville area)

Heh, pretty intense fighting the wither in the overworld as Timber can attest to. This wasn't the first one killed, Timberwolf heroically killed one that had got loose earlier.

BTW, am I that starved for attention and recognition? Hmm...must become hermit vantes.
