What Java version are you running. 7 update 10 seems to suck

I'm running 64 bit Java 1.7.0_10 (version 7 update 10) which is the latest java runtime

It's crashing randomly on a default minecraft install very often

Is anyone else having Java crashes running Windows 7 or 8 and this version of Java?

I updated the server to 7-10 about 2 days ago and have been running my home at 7-10 since it came out. I don't play much minecraft but I haven't had crashes. Using optifine, reis minmap, and 128 texture pack.

Not sure where to post this but,I am running 1.7.0_10 and yesterday I tried to go to the nether and i accidentally pulled out my flint and steel and it crashed giving me the error that Java(TM) Platform SE Binary has stopped working, and now every time I log in it crashes leaving me unable to run twitcraft although i can visit other servers and use single player. So I am wondering if it's because I am holding a flint and steel in hand and am "stuck" in the portal and if someone could possibly edit it so that I am moved? or know any other fix for me. Thanks in advance!

goobler hopefully it's location based. I can reset your log out location and hopefully you should spawn back in the lobby. lemme know how it goes and I'll get you fixed up.

yeah i ended up about 2 blocks lower which was in lava :p good thing i can /home faster than lava can melt me :p
