Please replace signshop links file
To Curley and the other Mods,
I recently returned from a work trip to find that signshop has been reinstalled but that most of the signs are still borked. I have been informed by other players that there is a file that has not been implemented that would fix/replace the broken signshop links but it has been decided to not be used as it would break many of the new links created. All of these decisions were made before any of us knew there was even issues or options here. As a rail designer, I have cart buy/sell signs spread everywhere that are now nonfunctional. I would ask/suggest that this signshop link file be replaced despite the destruction of new signshop sign links. Otherwise, those of us who have spent many days doing rail systems or other large scale shop systems will be faced with the choice to do days of relink work or just let it stay broken. (Personally, I will choose the latter) Thanks for your time and continued support.

Re: Please replace signshop links file
I agree the the rail system is very large to find and replace all signs will take a while and cause problems to people who want / return carts. Is there anyway to merge the 2 files together?

I'm also on the +1, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.

Re: Please replace signshop links file
we can try this: backup the current shop yml and impliment the old one (of course losing the data since the downgrade of signshop) hopefully it wasn't ignored due to corruption and all the old shops come back. [here's reasons I doubt this will work, the data listed on signs in some places has changed, i don't know how signshop links its data but we'll see] if it works, great, everyone is happy except all the people that have reworked their shops since, what 3-4 days? ugh? at that point if it doesn't work we'll....hopefully, restore, the currently installed shop yml that is running and "hope" that it will revert things to where they are right now. again, don't know how signshop deals with its data compared to the actual signs placed in game. Just so we're all clear here and for any TL:DR attempting to revert to the old file my cause us to not be able to use the current data and have to wipe all the data entirely (signshop gave up on the old file for a reason friends.)
please weigh in on this subject, I'd like to know how you all feel.
again tldr
1: leave it as is so people can rebuild shops with the new signshop file
2: attempt to run the old file, best case, resetting things to the way they were 3-4 days ago signshop wise, worst case deleting all shops entirely

Curley since you store everything in flat files cant you load the old file and then take some entries from the new file?
Re: Please replace signshop links file
Well my personal vote is to try the old files, I personally am willing to take that risk.

Re: Please replace signshop links file
if the option i suggested isnt an option i think it would be better to restore the old file because i think a lot more signs are in that then the new one

Re: Please replace signshop links file
replaced, seems to have done good. I have some concerns over the initial errors but after some checking in game things seems golden. Please warn me if something is borked.
