New feature: Statuses!

Postby Demonfive » 08 Sep 2012, 21:05

I've been playing around in CommandHelper the past couple days, and ended up making a sort of "player status" plugin, which basically allows users to associate a message with their name. There's a couple commands to it.

/status (message) - Use this to set your status or message.
/seestatus (user) - Use this to view another player's status.

It's pretty simple, and there's probably not a whole lot of use to it, but I figure some of you might have fun with it. If anyone has any comments, suggestions, or bug reports, just let me know in this thread.

To do:
- Command to view a list of recent statuses.
- Ability to "follow" a user, so if their status changes while you are online, it is displayed to you.

Thanks for reading!

This broke the ability to see mod replies to requests. The /modhelp command says that /status <id> returns details of a ticket. Any way to still get ticket details?

Probably not. This was written before the /status command existed in ModReq. I'll go ahead and remove the statuses completely, the haven't been used at all.
