I get this error quite often: io.netty.handler.timeout.readT
This error: io.netty.handler.timeout.readTimeoutexception comes on quite often. Before it shows up odd things happen: Blocks I have broken come back, Rubber banding, mobs freez, my hot bar empties into my inventory and can not be returned. I usually just disconnect and re-connect.
There seems to be a lot of lag showing often. I have full bars to the server. I have high speed internet (3 up 30 down).
What can I do to fix this?
Thanks.

A read timeout means that a connection with the server was setup, but the client had to wait too long before it received any data. This problem can either be server-side (e.g. it is too busy doing other things; that usually means that everyone is experiencing this) or client-side (something is eating up bandwidth, and causing only your client to get this problem).
It could be that you are suddenly dropping packets because an other program is using up the internet connection. Programs such as torrent clients are known to do that sometimes. Steam sometimes can cause this problem if it suddenly decides to update one of the games in your library. The same is true for other auto-updaters that suddenly eat up a lot of bandwidth when they download a new version of a program. If you are sharing your internet connection with other computers, those other computers might be using up all the bandwidth. The problem is more noticable when you are wifi instead of lan, because of the limited wifi bandwidth. If you are using wifi, consider hooking your computer up to a lan cable, or changing the frequency of the wifi to a frequency that is not used often in your neighbourhood.
I haven't had problems with this server. It lags a little bit when the server is saving, but not nearly long enough to cause timeouts. I would recommend checking if the problem isn't client-sided first.

Although what Sumurai8 explained is valid advice, I can also confirm TWiTCraft had poor uptime for me yesterday. It seemed every now and then everybody got kicked, including me. This is coupled with moments of lag every few minutes for the past two to three days.
Re: I get this error quite often: io.netty.handler.timeout.r
The io.netty disconnects have gotten more frequent these past two days. Lost a few items when I was disconnected while accessing a chest today. So, watch out for that.
Re: I get this error quite often: io.netty.handler.timeout.r
I checked the server RAM usage today while I was doing some modreqs (disconnected with this error twice while I was on in about 20m), and I'm pretty sure it's from the server being out of RAM. With only 3 people online, the server had about 1GB of RAM free out of 12GB. So yeah, definitely needs a reboot and it would be nice if we could nail down what has the memory leak and stop it. Unfortunately, I don't have the power to do a server restart. Best I can do is request a restart from the people that do have it, which I have done.

I had discovered this bug (unsure if Minecraft or Bukkit/Spigot) myself, it is actually rather bad. It seems that when an item is being held by the cursor (e.g. you are moving it from one slot to another) and there is a disconnection (e.g. AFK kick or network/server failure), then that item is destroyed with no chance of recovery.
Please be careful when handling items in any kind of inventory whilst the server is having issues. I wonder if TWiTCraft should just be whitelisted again for the moment until it is restarted, because this kind of problem (along with the constant kicks) makes it virtually unplayable.
