What do you think about twitcraft's moderators?

I'd like to point out that the mods are here to enforce the rules, not to be your friend.

I think the ACTIVE mods that we have do more than should be asked of them. They take care of all the day to day issues that come up. They are more than helpful with players who are interested in helping themselves and helping the server. They get NOTHING out of being a mod, they are on the server everyday, even when they don't want to and have other things that they would like to do with their time. They still show up and do their "job"... it's the sign of being more than a mod. They truely care about the community.

Not a damn thing. They are good people that do a difficult job and get no thanks for doing it.

The only feedback they really get are children like you complaining.

Yes, i understand. i put okay, only because i'm realitivly new to the new server. I am still formulating my opinion, but so far so good.

I would say that the current mod team is by far the most lenient team of mods I've ever dealt with. Most of the "problem players" they continue to patiently work with would have been long gone from the communities I've be a part of in the past (for reference, my age posted on the forum is no lie - I've been participating in online communities since the mid-1990's when I was the average age of most of the players currently playing on TWiTcraft).

All of the moderators, vantes especially, have exhibited far more self-restraint than most moderators I've ever dealt with. The amount of back-talk and obstinacy (myself included) from the community that they've dealt with over the past year and a half or so when most moderators/administrators would have simply banned all of the problem players (or would have become vindictive and completely shut the server down) is to be commended.

Call it brown-nosing if you wish, but I say this: You should all be thankful that you are shepherded by moderators that are so generous, for you will not find a better setup on most public servers.

I remeber the days on Leon, the ban hammer was heavy and dropped firmly on people without question. Kids these days have it WAY to easy.

As I said before in Mumble, I never had any negative dealings with Leon and I never suffered his wrath personally. That said, it does sound like a lot of other players did and yes the kids playing on the server now do have it easier.

The current active moderators do a great job managing the server. I concur, they are very lenient in respect to player action vs discipline handed down. That being said, I have noticed an appropriate increase for ban time for severe offences lately.

It's a thankless job. I moderate on Twitlive chat. We take time out of our daily lives and donate it to the TWiT community. These guys do the same and often spend many hours making sure the community stays safe for all to be part of.
