Twitcraft - Community Driven Podcast/TownHall

Postby TehRage » 24 Aug 2013, 12:51

We now have a need for a community driven townhall style podcast/discussion. This would be something that MUST be decentralized and CANNOT be bound to any 1 specific person. This must be BY the TWiTCraft Community, FOR the TWiTCraft Community. For those interested in getting involved with this project, please respond to this thread with ****I AM INTERESTED**** at the top of your post. This will be organized, hosted, edited by multiple people so there will never be a hang up because 1 person is busy with something or their schedule doesn't work out one month.

I believe in the TownHall format and personally think many great things have happened because of it. I think with this new community driven model we will have more opinions voiced, heard, and discussed with a less likelihood of problems.

This is intended to be a call out not where ideas, concepts thoughts or opinions are to be voiced. Just if you are interested in helping or not.

Thanks

I'd love to help in any way if I am able. With my work schedule that might not be the easiest thing, but I'll do what I can.

School's starting up, but I'd be glad to help out when I can.

Community town hall is now backed by the UGGR!

i like the old way of sliding thru the timezones a bit at a time since theres really no one hour where everyone's time's/sched's can match up

Might help to either start a new thread with date/time proposals or let us know a date/time that this thread will shift to that debate. :)

On the Subject of times there is a great html5 page http://everytimezone.com/ which gives a slider and shows the times for the major cities on each time zone. Crunching the numbers and having a rough guess where I know people are from I say a good time is 11pm-midnight my time (London) that be 4pm pacific, 7pm easten for our down under friends it be around 9am

This still won't suit everyone its just a suggestion
