Good episode! I did want to ask about updates on the stargates. They were mentioned briefly, but no discussion about implementation time frame. I'm feeling a bit conflicted about stargates now that there will be a rail station in Leoville. Sure, most places on the server will not have a stargate, but I am a bit concerned that if Sky5 has one, people will just use that instead of the rail from Leoville to Sky5.

The back up of jar you need is 1.2.5 not 1.2.3 as stated in the podcast. but honestly, just don't hit the update button. XD

You can also use one of the many applications that allow you to have multiple versions of Minecraft installed. (That way you can just launch the appropriate version for single player and your various servers)

Regarding the xp farms. You should probably make it a rule, that there should be an off switch on them.
So when people arent using them, they wont spawn mobs.

It's not as much of a problem as you might think. Most xp farms use spawners. Spawners only work if there is a player within a certain distance. Even if someone goes afk in range of a spawener, the entity limiter only allows a certain number to be present in an area. All that being said, I do put redstone lamps in all my xp farms to keep them turned off when they aren't in use.

Wow. Chad, this podcast just told me how little you actually know about Burning Man. Next time I go to the Brickhouse, we will have a little chat ... ;)
