Sky Five City Rules [Updated 6/27/2012]
With the addition of the commercial district to Sky Five City, there is now a set of rules for the residential districts and a set for the commercial districts. Unless otherwise noted, such as structure height, all the rules from the residential district apply to the commercial district. If you have questions, talk to myself (asim0v) or torontomario in-game. You can also tweet @skyfivecity with questions and comments.
All currently built lots are free. 15x15 residential lots will always be free, though we are planning to create larger lots that will be fore sale. 15x20 commercial lots are free, for now. Future lots may have a nominal fee.
Residential District Rules
1. Unclaimed lots marked with "OPEN" on their sign are available for anyone. They can be claimed by placing a sign. One residential lot per person, please.
2. Your lot or structure must have a sign with your lot # and name.
3. The stone foundation of a lot must stay. You may remove the grass if you like.
4. Roofs and balconies may extend 1 block out from the lot. Nothing else may.
5. Structures in the residential district are limited to a height limit of 30 blocks.
6. All lots and structures must be lit so mobs do not spawn in the city.
7. Claimed lots that have NOT been built on within 1 week will be forfeit and revert to unclaimed status.
8. Claimed lots with building but no completed structure have 1 month of inactivity (no building progress) before they are considered abandoned and revert to unclaimed. If you have circumstances that do not allow you to complete your structure in time, tell asim0v, torontomario, or tweet @skyfivecity.
9. Cows, pigs, and chickens are available, but please breed before killing, and leave some for others.
10. Griefers are not tolerated. Period. If you grief, you will lost your lot, and I will try to get you banned from the entire server.
Most of the above rules for the residential district apply to the commercial district, such as how to claim a lot and keeping it lit up to prevent mobs from spawning.
Commercial District Rules
1. Claim an open lot in the commercial district by placing a sign with your lot number, name, and name of your shop (if you like)
2. A second sign must appear in front of or on the outside of your shop with the date of your last visit. Shops left unattended for 2 weeks will be closed off. If you have not visited within 2 more weeks, your shop will be torn down and revert to unclaimed. Resources will be saved and put in a vault for you to retrieve later.
3. One commercial lot per person, please. You can have both a residential and commercial if you wish.
4. Structures are limited to a height of 20 blocks.
5. The stone foundation of the lot must stay unaltered. The grass can be removed if you wish.
6. Roofs and balconies may extend 1 block out from your lot, but no further and no other features may extend beyond your lot unless specifically approved by asim0v or torontomario.
7. You have one week after claiming a commercial lot to build. Failure to build within this timeframe will result in your lot reverting to open.
8. All rules must be followed. If you are in violation of any rules, you will be contacted in-game. If you are not online at the time the breach is discovered, a sign will be left in front of your shop. Failure to address the violation within 1 week will result in your shop being closed. After another week of fixing the violation, your shop will be torn down and revert to unclaimed. All resources will be saved and available in a vault for you to retrieve later.
9. You must contact asim0v or torontomario and tell either one that you have read and understand the commercial district rules. This can be done in-game or over twitter (@skyfivecity). Be sure to include your Minecraft name and lot number if done via Twitter.

Re: Sky Five City Rules [Updated 6/27/2012]
The commercial district were heavily updated on 6/27/2012. Please make sure you read them! The rules apply to all tenants new and old. Old tenants will have 2 weeks to inform us they have read the rules and put up the sign with the date of their last visit to the shop. If this is not complete by then, your shop will be boarded up until it has been. If another 2 weeks passes with your shop boarded up, it will be considered abandoned and torn down. The resources will be kept in a vault for you to get later.
