FlatLand 2.0

Postby Robrotheram » 23 May 2013, 06:24

Recently I was experimenting with some ideas in flatland and noticed that it is a mess form varios grefing attacks uncompleted builds and experiments left abandoned. I know myself that it is much easier to leave a build and build a new one then removing it block by block. So I think it is time for a different approach. I have seen on other servers that I occasionally walk through use something like this plugin http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/plotme/ which creates plots. if each user is given one plot and they have finished a build / experiment they can reset the plot. back to its original. I leave it to the mods to think about permissions and plot size. we could also have a hall of fame where good build can be saved (like the pixel art). But at the moment flatland can not stay in the condition it is at the moment

We did announce that Flatland was going to be resetting on a regular basis. We just haven't gotten around to implementing that yet. Hopefully it will happen soon.

Ok that be nice to see I like the plot idea only because I know a lot of us use flatland as a experimental place and destroying old builds is painful so we don't
