I think i found a bug with vines growing indoors

if you want to have jungle vines instead of ladders indoor,s you're going to have a bad time

i have not taken screen shots of the vines replacing blocks (in one case a door), but i filled out a modreq a couple of days ago and the mod did not see any griefing in modblock. he (ipodparf, named for posterity) thought it might be a rollback issue. (the blocks in question were placed around 12th of december) and vines were growing inside the missing blocks. which were adjacent to vines i had growing since i thought it would be cooler than jsut ladders.

i went to check in on that old house today and the same blocks were missing with atleast one vine in each open space. And more blocks missing on the 2nd storey of my houseboat (so why would a rollback of what i did the other day roll back even more blocks this time)

with the aquadome comng in the nearby area i have been coming back to that old house a lot lately and noticed the missing blocks. i also fixed the damage and removed the vines that were growing into those blocks. when i check in over the next few days ill see if the blocks dissappear again. but this is not griefing.

i am trying to put enough details so someone could try to recreate this to see if it is a vine bug. and thanks for the help with my modreq, i havent filled out another since i would only want to modreq if i needed the mods for something i could not do myself (like: deal with a griefer). so im posting this here instead.

if it was really necessary, i have the materials to recreate this bug, but i dont wish too. it knocked out a door! um, no.

I have the exact same problem in my tower. I thought it was strange that random blocks were missing in different altitudes. It just couldnt be griefing.

I just logged on, and it seems to continue.. Damn shame most of the tower is covered in vines.. On the outside, so its not just an indoor problem.

there was no sign that anyone had removed the blocks from my house. and they were in a similar pattern, the next time i went to that house. i do have vines growing in the back as well, inside and outside. but it has never been adjacent to missing blocks.

as they're vines i would think logblock would never log them from being removed. hence the mystery missing blocks.

but yours are outside, dang. this sounds like something mojang should bug fix for(and they would ned to be made aware of it). i and going to have to remove them and replace them with ladders. but i wanted a chaotic greenery in my windows
