Yay for lava flow!
Boo for not being able to place lava

I know that the mods will place lava on request. I've submitted two /modreq and asked about it in chat the other day when discussing another issue with a mod, but didn't get a response. I'm not complaining, because if I was a mod, I wouldn't want to spend my time plopping down lava for people either. But are there other options? Is there a way to allow people to place lava in their own regions?

If not, could we vote as a community on this? I love lava flow, but honestly, if I can't place it where I want it...its not really as interesting for me.

this was heavily discussed. we can't have both, too easy to grief and cause players frustration. We originally went with flow off place on so that they can be used to for decorations but then people felt that it hurt the gameplay cause it wouldn't flow when they were mining and made people feel like it made the game too easy. So we went with flow on place off like most servers with the option to have it placed for you by a mod.
