Any updates on when stables/modreq/etc will get fixed? I just had to deal with a "OMG I FOUND A HORSE WITH A SADDLE!!!!!!" thing on the server today, really need to atleast get stables working.

Re: State of the server...
The problem, as I understand it, is the server was updated to 1.75 and several plugins, including stables, do not work with this version.
This is not an issue of neglect, it is an incompatibility issue between Spigot 1.75 and those plugins. Technical glitches get fixed.
I have also heard ramblings from people who seem to think there is a need for "a replacement server" to "get the community back together". There is no possible way to re-create what we had in the past. People move on, play other games, have to go to work, school, have families to tend to, etc. What we are seeing is the natural progression of time. Servers cost time and money. My advice is, if you REALLY want to run a Minecraft server, come up with a plan, do your research, and start one up that has its own identity and theme with its own community of players. "Me too" servers are never successful.
TWiT itself has gone through major personality changes over the past year as well. The focus is swinging more towards a "tech news" format and away from the variety of shows the network once had. As most know, the original group of folks who started and moderated this server were closely tied to the NSFW show and GameOn. With both of those shows having been cancelled and the personalities behind those shows not being associated with the TWiT network, many of those people have dropped interest in the network as well.
Many players share time between TwitCraft and other Minecraft servers. Groups of the same people sometimes can be found on others as well. It's just natural for some players to do that.
So, in short, my advice is to login and play. Enjoy the server. Enjoy those people who are still here and the new folks who are signing up. Have fun with it. That's what it is here for.

Let us pray, and hope the server would be just like the old days with people, builds, and fun
